Biotope. Come closer!
What it’s about
BIOTOPE wants to exceed limits. To rethink limits. And in order to do that, it appeals to all our senses. The body is a battleground for questions of ethical, sociological, philosophical, and technological nature – all of which are relevant, when it comes to the future of our society and humankind. This location-specific performance combines dance, performance art, and objects. It is up to the audience how it wants to experience BIOTOPE: close up or from afar. Dive into a living organism. Without beginning, without end.
Why you need to be there
BIOTOPE is developed by United Cowboys (NL), a collective of international artists. In collaboration with the Sommerblut Kulturfestival, they develop a sculptural continuous performance for museum spaces in Cologne and Eindhoven.
Everything is in motion. The performance. The audience. The “us”.
