What it's about

In Harmonia, Unusual Symptoms and Hungarian choreographer Adrienn Hód invite us to explore the human body and its significance in dance and society in a new way. Between joyful exuberance, concentrated explorations of physical diversity and a good dose of self-irony, an ensemble of dancers with and without disabilities questions the hierarchies of classical dance, but also the supposedly progressive forms of contemporary dance art.

That's why you have to go in

Asking for the audience's undisturbed attention, they throw conventional notions of the body and the structures built around it overboard and set about playfully realigning our gaze.

Pssst!

Choreographer Adrienn Hód and dancer Leisa Prowd will be giving a workshop on Harmonia on April 29 from 3 - 5 pm. EXPLORING THE BODY invites all dance enthusiasts with and without disabilities to get to know their bodies better. Participation only with registration.

Awarded the Rudolf Lábán Prize 2023 for the best dance piece in Hungary. Invited to the TANZPLATTFORM DEUTSCHLAND 2024.
