Theatre in prison

For more than 10 years (2013), we have been raising awareness for more culture in various prisons through our own theater productions. As part of an EU cooperation project launched in 2023, we are currently trying to establish culture as a recognized work sector in prisons.

AHOS project puts a sensitive and not widely-known issue in the focus of attention, the one dealing with the social utility that Theatre inside prisons can create, as a real rehabilitative act for the people involved.

Program
Corona isn’t over. But it’s different. Now it’s time for new forms of community, encounter and aliveness. In 2022 we at Sommerblut are re-thinking and re-doing.
